What Savoir does, for members and for the board

The same documents, seen from three sides. What a member gets on their phone. What the board runs from the console. What makes every answer checkable.

For members

A question asked the way you would ask a neighbour, and an answer that shows where it came from.

  • Ask in plain words
From a phone, at any hour, without guessing which PDF the answer is in.
  • An answer, and the exact passage
Every answer names the document and the section it stood on. A chip opens the passage.
  • The Civil Code, cited apart
In Québec, the Civil Code’s articles are grouped apart from the building’s own documents, after them, with the legal-information notice.
  • It says when it does not know
When the documents do not answer, Savoir says so, shows the contact the board has set and sends them the question.
  • In French or in English
Each person reads in the language they chose, from the first screen to the answer.

For the board

Everything runs from one place: the library, the questions that come back, the numbers and the arrivals.

  • One console for everything
Documents, members, the assistant’s settings and the analytics in one place. Rights are granted key by key, not by a role label.
  • Documents dropped and followed
Drop the PDFs in and watch each file through to ready. The day a document changes, replace it. The history stays.
  • A review queue
Unanswered and flagged questions wait for the board. The answer it writes is used the next time.
  • Numbers, and a report to hand over
Four indicators, the questions over time, the most frequent subjects, the most cited documents and the ones nobody could answer. A CSV export of the whole range.
  • Invitations, and a poster
By e-mail, by link, behind the board’s approval if you want it, and a QR poster to print for the lobby.
  • A weekly digest
On Monday morning, in the community’s own time zone, every administrator who asks for it gets what the building asked that week.

Why these answers can be trusted

Each of these is already in the product, and each is checkable on the next screen.

  • Cited, or nothing
Savoir answers from the community’s documents and names its sources. When it has none, it says so.
  • The Civil Code in a group of its own
The Civil Code’s articles form a group of their own, under the legal-information notice. It is never a legal opinion.
  • Encrypted in transit and at rest
Everything travels over HTTPS. Uploaded files are kept in a private store that opens only through a signed, temporary link.
  • One community never reads the one next door
Every row and every file carries its community’s id. The database refuses any read that would cross that boundary.
  • Hosted in a Canadian region
In production, a community’s documents and the questions asked of them stay in a Canadian region.
  • No advertising, no tracking
No advertising cookie, no tracker. Visits to this site are counted page by page, with no cookie and no IP address.
